Wedding Photographer in Dijon & Burgundy – Capturing Your Story
Weddings in Dijon and Burgundy
Getting married in Dijon or anywhere in Burgundy means celebrating your love story in one of the most authentic and romantic regions of France.
Burgundy is world-famous for its vineyards, charming villages, and historical landmarks that create the perfect backdrop for unforgettable wedding photographs. From elegant châteaux surrounded by vineyards to rustic barns and countryside manors, this region offers a wide variety of venues that reflect the beauty and diversity of French culture. Dijon, as the capital of Burgundy, combines historic architecture, picturesque streets, and modern amenities, making it an ideal location for both intimate weddings and large celebrations.
As a wedding photographer based in Dijon, I know the region inside out: the best hidden alleys for couple portraits, the vineyards glowing with golden light at sunset, or the stunning courtyards that make timeless group shots. Whether you’re planning a destination wedding with guests flying in from abroad or a local ceremony rooted in family traditions, I capture not just the scenery, but also the atmosphere and emotions of the day.
Burgundy has a unique way of blending gastronomy, wine, and art de vivre, and I make sure my photography reflects this authentic spirit. For couples who choose Dijon or Burgundy as their wedding destination, photography becomes more than just images—it becomes a lasting memory of the region’s charm, its flavors, and its timeless beauty.

A trusted wedding photographer at your side in Burgundy
With more than 12 years as a professional wedding photographer and over 180 weddings documented, I can honestly say I’ve seen just about everything a wedding day can bring—and that’s exactly why my couples feel confident having me by their side. Whether it’s a sudden summer storm in Burgundy, a last-minute dress adjustment, or an uncle who unexpectedly steals the show on the dance floor, I know how to adapt quickly while keeping a calm, positive energy. My experience has taught me that no two weddings are ever the same, and that’s what keeps me passionate about this work. Every celebration tells a different story, and my role is to capture it authentically.
Another thing many of my couples appreciate is that I’m fluent in English. If you’re planning a destination wedding in Dijon or Burgundy and bringing in family and friends from abroad, communication won’t be an issue. I’m used to working with international couples who may be organizing everything from a distance, and I know how to make the process smooth and reassuring. From our first video call to the big day itself, you’ll always feel understood and supported.
Experience also means efficiency: I know when to step back and let moments unfold naturally, and when to step in and give just enough direction to make sure everything looks great on camera. With me, you get both technical skills and a relaxed, friendly approach. After 180 weddings, I’ve learned to expect the unexpected and to make the best out of it—which often leads to some of the most memorable photographs.

A Documentary Approach Focused on Real Moments
My approach to wedding photography is rooted in documentary storytelling, often called photoreportage. What this means in practice is that I don’t spend the day asking you to pose endlessly or interrupting the natural flow of events. Instead, I focus on capturing what really happens—those genuine smiles, the tears during the vows, the spontaneous laughter during the speeches, and even the little in-between moments you might not notice at the time. Weddings are full of energy and emotion, and I believe the most powerful images come from letting those moments unfold naturally.
Of course, we’ll still take time for a few portraits and group photos, but even those I try to keep relaxed and fun. I prefer natural light whenever possible, as it gives the images a timeless, authentic feel. My goal is for you to look back at your photos and remember not just what the day looked like, but what it felt like.
Couples often tell me that they barely noticed I was there during the day—which is exactly what I want. I blend into the background, moving discreetly while staying attentive to everything that’s happening. Think of me as an observer with a camera, always ready to capture the fleeting glances, the unexpected jokes, and the little details that make your wedding unique.
In the end, what you get is not just a collection of pretty pictures, but a living, breathing story of your wedding day—filled with authenticity, energy, and emotion.

More Than a Photographer – A Human Connection
For me, being a wedding photographer is not only about taking beautiful images, it’s also about being present for you as a person. A wedding can be an emotional rollercoaster, and having someone by your side who brings calm, reassurance, and a touch of humor can make a real difference. I see my role as more than just documenting the day—I’m also there to support you, guide you when needed, and make sure you actually enjoy the experience of being photographed.
Many couples are nervous in front of the camera, and that’s perfectly normal. My approach is gentle and relaxed: I give you just enough direction to feel comfortable, but I never push you into stiff poses or situations that don’t feel like you. Instead, I encourage natural interactions, laughter, and genuine emotions. This is how I create photographs that look effortless and authentic.
What I value most is the trust my couples place in me. Over the years, I’ve learned that the best photos happen when people feel free to be themselves. That’s why I take the time to connect with you before the wedding, to understand who you are, what matters most to you, and how you want your day to be remembered.
At the end of the day, I want you to feel like you had not just a professional photographer, but also a friendly, supportive presence who cared about your story. Because while great equipment and technical skills are important, it’s the human connection that truly brings photographs to life.

Your story is in good hands. Just enjoy your wedding day.
